Booking Terms and Conditions
All bookings are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By paying a deposit and booking with us, you are entering into a legally binding contract and accept the Terms and Conditions in full. If you are unsure of anything, please ask us prior to booking.
Prices
The price of any rooms will be as quoted on our website and includes accommodation and breakfast.
Please note, the information and prices shown on this website may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website and prices regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check all details of your booking (including the price) at the time of booking.
Payment
We are happy to accept Cash, Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard or Bank Transfer for payment of the deposit and the balance. Please note payment by American Express is not available.
Deposit
On booking we require a non-refundable £100/per room deposit payable by Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Cash.
The balance is payable on departure.
Arrival and Departure
Please arrive between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. If you wish to arrive after 6:00pm please contact us to arrange.
On the morning of your departure, please vacate your room by 10:00am to allow us time to prepare the room for our next guests. Failure to depart by this time may result in an additional charge.
Parking
We have off-road private parking and vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk. If you arrive before 4:00pm you are welcome to use our car park and enjoy a walk around the local area.
Breakfast
Breakfast is available 8:30 or 9:00am, and is pre-ordered the night before.
Please inform us if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies at the time of the booking so that we can ensure we have any specific produce for you.
Children
As many guests come for some peace and quiet and because we only accept two guests per room, we only take guests over the age of 18.
Pets
We do not accept pets, except assistance dogs.
Please note if you have pet allergies we have a resident friendly spaniel. He is not allowed upstairs in the guest rooms.
Changes and Cancellations by you
If cancellation takes place within 14 days of your arrival, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the balance due must be paid. We will make every effort to re-let your room but you may still remain liable to pay in full or in part for the booking.
Once booked and your deposit has been paid, your dates and deposit are non-transferable, but should you need to re-schedule we will make every effort to accommodate your request on a goodwill basis and subject to availability. We cannot, however, guarantee that we will be able to re-schedule your booking to your preferred dates and should you choose to cancel your booking, your deposit will be retained.
Please note any changes within 14 days of your arrival will be classed as a cancellation and will be charged accordingly even if you choose alternative dates, this also includes any reduction in the length of your stay.
We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance to cover you in case you need to cancel.
Changes and Cancellations by us
Should we need to cancel your booking, we will seek to give you a minimum of 14 days' notice. You will be given the option of a refund of your deposit or offered alternative dates. The Old Town Hall will not be liable for any additional, associated or consequential costs.
Breakages and Damage
We understand accidents may happen and we are sure you will take care while you are staying with us. We ask you to inform us of any breakage or damage which occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages but we may send you an invoice for repair/replacement if the breakage or damage is significant.
Liability
We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, or vehicle, or possessions whilst on our property, unless proven to be caused by negligence by us.
No smoking policy
Strictly no smoking (including e-cigarettes) inside the building.

Data/Privacy
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Any data gathered during the course of a booking will be stored securely online and will not be shared or sold on. Please refer to the separate Privacy Notice.
