Guests Lounge

The building was constructed in 1862 and was used for dances, wedding receptions and social gatherings until 1966 when it was sold and converted into a house.  In 2005 The Old Town Hall Bed & Breakfast Yorkshire Dales was opened and has since undergone an extensive upgrade to provide a contemporary guest lounge, a more traditional feel to the new internet library and reception area downstairs. We now offer evening meals with the emphasis on the use of local produce and quality home cooking.

We have 3 rooms available as follows:

Avignon Suite  -   Large room with super king size bed (6ft) separate cosy lounge and luxury en-suite; consisting of a double spa bath and separate shower with body jets  -  £115.00 per room per night including breakfast.

Four Poster Room  -  Large 'French Style' room with 5ft Four Poster Bed, comfortable sofa and plenty of space.  This room comes complete with 'His and Hers' Private Bathrooms with Showers, one for 'Him' offering 'Champney's for Men' toiletries and one for 'Her' with 'Champney's Spa' toiletries  -  £100.00 per room per night including breakfast.

Clifton   -   Super king size bed (6ft) with en-suite bath/shower room  -  £90.00 per room per night including breakfast.

All of our rooms have the following:

Tea & coffee making facilities, home made biscuits, Truffles from 'The Little Chocolate Shop',  2 Small bottles of complimentary wine for your arrival, Fridge containing fresh milk, bottled water and cordial,  luxury bath robes, Champney's Spa products for use during your stay, Air conditioning unit, Flat screen TV/DVD player, Alarm Clock and Hairdryer.
